The broad acceptance of deep learning models is still hindered by issues regarding decision interpretability and reliability assessment. This time we invited Georgii Mikriukov, Moussa Kassem Sbeyti, and Christian Schlauch from Continental. The talk explores three recently published papers by Continental’s AI Lab that collectively highlight the importance of interpretable and robust models via efficient uncertainty handling and knowledge integration as key factors in advancing deep learning systems for autonomous driving.
