About the speakers:
Janette Wiget is CFO and member of the management board at the AI venture studio Merantix, as well as co-founder of the AI Campus Berlin. She oversees the development of Merantix’s operations and has been strongly advocating for deep tech in the Europe while leading the efforts of the Merantix venture fund, which is backed by investors such as Softbank. She is an alumna of the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
Vanessa Cann is the Managing Director of the German AI Association and has led the Artificial Intelligence and Future Mobility platform at the German Startup Assocation, where she connected startups with established companies and investors. Vanessa Cann developed her interest in artificial intelligence in political consulting, where she advised Fortune500 companies on their digital policies. She is involved as a mentor for startups and with Women in AI.
Nicole Büttner is the Founder & CEO of Merantix Momentum, bringing impactful ML solutions through a comprehensive AI strategy to their clients. She is also an AI entrepreneur and investor, the World Economic Forum has named her the Digital Leader of Europe, and Capital Magazine has twice placed her in the top 40 under 40. Since 2018 she has been on the Board of Alumni of the University of St.Gallen and regularly writes, lectures and teaches about artificial intelligence, and she is also part of the Young Leaders of Aspen Institute and Rising Talents community of the Women's Forum.
