​AI in recruitment is as buzzing as ever: Is it delivering candidates faster, or automatically discarding them based on technical glitches? And how do we curb the negative issues while still delivering useful products?

​The EU AI Act brings these questions back on the table. While its delay has certainly brought some relief to product and compliance teams, issues of fairness, autonomy, and general prevention of harm in a structural way remains challenging.

​Join us for a moderated panel discussion with Roberta Barone and Dr. Matthias König.

​Roberta is leading AI Ethics and Compliance for The Stepstone Group. She will briefly share her experience of shifting strategy from AI Ethics to Compliance, making the point for why it is worth to “bring Ethics back”.

​But ethics doesn't make the implementation question disappear. Dr. Matthias König is Co-Founder and technical CEO of KvJ – a consultancy specialised in AI Compliance and AI Governance. With his extensive expertise he will speak about what implementing the AI Act requirements means for product and engineering teams in practice.
