Goal: Develop a common understanding of how to develop, deploy and monitor safe and secure AI systems. Collect best practices and discuss their implementation in exemplary use cases.
Activity: Monthly jour fixes and anchor meetings for exchange.
Review of regulations and exchange with authorities
Goal: Develop profound AI and regulatory expertise in the field of safe and secure AI.
Activity: Joint analysis of regulations, standards and subsequent feedback to regulators.
Requirement definition for assurance tools and services
Goal: Develop mutually supporting or joint business activities for concrete solutions in the field of safe and secure AI.
Activity: On-site and virtual forum for practitioners across industries and institutions.

The Safe & Secure AI Community meets at the Merantix AI Campus Berlin, a not-for-profit space where research, startups and corporates come together and collaborate on Artificial Intelligence.
Community members
The ‘Safe and Secure AI Community’ consists of AI practitioners with a diverse background and from a broad range of organizations and institutions. These are:
- AI system developers and operators
- Providers of tools for AI auditing/testing
- Regulators and standardization organizations
- Technical inspection companies and certifiers
- (Academic) research institutions
- AI assurance consultancies
We do not have a closed membership system and our events are open to any AI practitioner interested in safe and secure AI systems.
